Laravel & React Developer (Remote – Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking an experienced Laravel and React developer to join its growing remote team serving clients across the United States and Latin America. You will work on high‑impact projects, building robust back‑end services and modern front‑end interfaces while collaborating with a diverse group of professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel (v8+) applications and RESTful APIs.
• Implement front‑end features using React (and optionally Vue.js or Livewire).
• Write automated tests with Pest, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, or Playwright.
• Collaborate with product owners to translate client goals into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, estimations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel 8 or newer.
• Strong understanding of Eloquent ORM, Laravel authentication, and query builder.
• Hands‑on experience with testing tools such as Pest, PHPUnit, Dusk, or Playwright.
• Proficiency in building APIs and using Inertia.js.
• Experience with front‑end development (React required; Vue.js, Livewire a plus).
• Detail‑oriented, proactive, and able to take ownership of deliverables.
