Marketing Specialist – Email & Automation (Remote)

About the role

Toptal is seeking a results‑driven Marketing Specialist to lead email marketing, automation, and content initiatives. The role focuses on planning, executing, and optimizing campaigns across email, blogs, SEO, and social media, while working fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end email campaign execution, including planning, QA, testing, deployment, reporting and optimization.
• Build, manage and refine automated journeys, campaigns and audience segmentation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
• Create and test email copy, subject lines, CTAs and send times using A/B testing to improve performance.
• Monitor and analyse key metrics such as open rates, click‑through rates, conversions and engagement, and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
• Write, edit and optimise blog posts and SEO‑focused content, ensuring alignment with brand voice and target keywords.
• Refresh existing blog articles to improve search rankings.
• Produce compelling social media copy that supports campaign objectives and maintain the content calendar.
• Track social performance and suggest improvements based on audience response.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing with a strong emphasis on email marketing and automation.
• Proven track record of managing email campaigns and automated journeys.
• Experience creating SEO‑optimized written content and managing social media channels.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment and communicate in English.
