About the role

Join San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi as a Cargo Agent in Belize City, where you will play a key role in handling, tracking, and moving shipments in a fast‑paced logistics environment. The position blends customer interaction, operational coordination, and hands‑on cargo management.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and process cargo shipments for dispatch.
• Verify documentation, labeling, and shipment details.
• Maintain accurate records of cargo movement, invoices, and tracking logs.
• Inspect cargo for accuracy, condition, and discrepancies.
• Ensure shipments meet company standards and handling procedures.
• Coordinate with team members to resolve shipment issues or delays.
• Support smooth daily cargo operations across departments.

Required profile

• High School Diploma.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Experience in cargo handling, logistics, or customer service is an asset (training provided).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, and physically lift cargo safely.
