Custodian – Terminal Maintenance

About the role

Join the San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi team as a Custodian, responsible for keeping the terminal clean, organized, and welcoming for passengers and staff. You will work in a structured, supportive environment where attention to detail and reliability are valued.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of terminal areas, including restrooms, waiting areas, offices, and outdoor spaces.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and waste removal.
• Restock restroom supplies and ensure facilities remain sanitary and presentable.
• Monitor cleanliness throughout the day and respond promptly to immediate needs.
• Support general upkeep and assist with additional cleaning‑related tasks as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma preferred (not mandatory).
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous custodial or janitorial experience is an asset.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Physically capable of bending, lifting, and performing cleaning duties in indoor and outdoor settings.
