Laravel Developer + React (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking a seasoned Laravel Developer with strong React experience to join its fully remote team serving clients across the United States and Latin America. You will work on high‑impact projects, delivering modern web applications that combine robust back‑end architecture with responsive front‑end interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel 8+ applications using Eloquent ORM, authentication, and query builder.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate them with Inertia.js powered front‑ends.
• Implement front‑end features using React (or Vue.js/Laravel Livewire) and Tailwind CSS where applicable.
• Write automated tests with Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, and Playwright to ensure code quality.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, estimate work, and take ownership of deliverables.
• Align development efforts with client goals and company standards.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel (version 8 or newer).
• Proven expertise in Eloquent ORM, Laravel authentication, and query builder.
• Hands‑on experience with testing tools such as Pest, PHPUnit, Dusk, or Playwright.
• Solid background in front‑end development using React; experience with Vue.js, Livewire, or similar frameworks is a plus.
• Ability to work autonomously, maintain a positive attitude, and pay meticulous attention to detail.
