Porter / Dockhand - Belize City

About the role

San Pedro Belize Express Water Taxi is hiring Porters / Dockhands in Belize City. The role supports passengers and vessel operations, from helping with luggage to assisting arrivals and departures. It offers hands-on experience in customer service and marine operations within a team environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist passengers with luggage during arrival and departure, and help organise, tag and distribute it by destination
• Support vessel arrivals and departures by assisting dock operations
• Guide passengers safely during boarding and disembarking
• Give customers information about schedules and services
• Maintain a clean, organised and presentable work environment
• Work with team members to keep daily operations running smoothly

Required profile

• High school diploma
• At least 18 years old
• Fluent English; Spanish is a plus
• Previous experience in transportation, hospitality or customer service is an asset but not required
• Friendly, professional approach and strong communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable with active, hands-on luggage handling
