Purchasing Agent

About the role

The Purchasing Agent will support day‑to‑day procurement operations for Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, ensuring that vessels receive the goods and services they need on time and within policy.

Key responsibilities

• Review requisitions, create and execute purchase orders following established procurement procedures.
• Expedite inventory and direct‑charge purchase orders for assigned vessels, tracking shipments to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Process manual purchase orders, maintain complete documentation, and obtain all required approvals.
• Source items by obtaining quotes, supporting item selection, and coordinating with suppliers.
• Verify item quantities, pricing, and delivery details before order submission.
• Maintain system setup (users, approval paths, filters) in line with internal controls.
• Serve as the first point of contact for internal users regarding purchasing tools and order status.
• Coordinate with Accounts Payable for invoice processing and enforce procurement policies.
• Support implementation and ongoing operation of eProcurement and Procure‑to‑Pay tools.
• Follow up on open orders with requisitioners and suppliers to resolve issues promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement operations.
