Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Flask & React) – Remote

About the role

Bluelight is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join its fast‑growing consultancy. You will work remotely from Latin America, delivering high‑quality full‑stack applications that support complex financial reporting and data‑visualisation needs.

Key responsibilities

• Architect, test, and ship end‑to‑end full‑stack solutions using Python (Flask) and React.
• Continuously refactor and optimise existing codebases following Agile practices.
• Collaborate with product managers and data‑engineering teams to extract, parse, and serve large‑scale private‑asset analytics.
• Provide consulting expertise to clients, ensuring delivered software has a direct impact on their business.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience with Python, Flask, SQLAlchemy and Celery.
• Strong front‑end experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and React for SPA development.
• Extensive work with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, and advanced data‑access patterns.
• Proven ability to work in a remote, fast‑paced consultancy environment.
