DevOps / SRE / DevSecOps Engineer (AWS) - Remote

About the role

Bluelight is a fast‑growing software consultancy looking for a seasoned DevOps/SRE/DevSecOps Engineer to join its remote team serving clients across Latin America. You will work on high‑impact projects, building and operating secure, scalable cloud solutions on AWS.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Develop and operate CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and rollback procedures.
• Monitor, log, and observe services with OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, and related tooling.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps, SRE, or DevSecOps roles.
• Strong hands‑on experience with AWS services such as ECS/Fargate, RDS/Aurora, ALB, VPC, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS, and S3.
• Experience operating Aurora/PostgreSQL in production, including multi‑AZ failover and replica monitoring.
• Ability to work overlapping US business hours and provide on‑call support.

• CI/CD pipeline creation and automation
• PostgreSQL/Aurora administration
• OpenTelemetry or similar observability tools
• Load testing tools (k6)
• Vulnerability scanning, secrets management, SOC 2 compliance
• Incident response and root‑cause analysis
