About the role
FHI 360 is seeking a Chief of Party to lead the MCC Belize Training and Transitioning to Work Activity, a five‑year $125 million education compact. Based in Belize, the COP will provide overall leadership, management oversight, and technical direction for the program, ensuring integrated implementation across all components.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the project team and oversee all technical and operational aspects of the activity.
- Ensure quality and timeliness of contractual and technical deliverables.
- Coordinate preparation of annual and quarterly work plans, budgets, and progress reports.
- Oversee an effective monitoring and evaluation system.
- Serve as primary liaison with MCC Belize, the Government of Belize, and other implementing partners.
- Identify program risks early and make appropriate adjustments.
- Supervise activity implementation to meet goals, reporting requirements, and deliverables.
Required profile
- Proven ability to work in complex, multicultural environments.
- Experience managing diverse teams and delivering impact in education or TVET projects.
- Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
