Laravel & React Developer (Remote – Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking a skilled Laravel and React developer to join its growing remote team serving clients across the United States and Latin America. You will work on high‑impact projects, building modern web applications that combine robust back‑end APIs with responsive front‑end interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel (v8+) applications and RESTful APIs.
• Implement front‑end features using React (or Vue.js/Livewire) and Inertia.js.
• Write automated tests with Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, or Playwright.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, customer‑focused solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, estimate work, and take ownership of deliverables.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel 8 or newer.
• Strong understanding of Eloquent ORM, Laravel authentication, and query builder.
• Hands‑on experience with testing tools such as Pest, PHPUnit, Dusk, or Playwright.
• Proficiency in front‑end development (React preferred, Vue.js or Livewire a plus).
• Detail‑oriented, proactive mindset and ability to align with client goals.
