Technical Support Specialist - Dealer Spike

About the role

LeadVenture is looking for a Technical Support Specialist to support its Dealer Spike brand. You will work directly with new and existing customers, solving technical problems and helping them get the most out of their software subscription to the Dealer Spike Inventory Syndication system. You will also build relationships with dealer clients and partners such as eBay, Facebook, AutoTrader and Cars.com. The role suits someone versatile and comfortable in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide an excellent customer experience on inbound support calls, emails and chats.
• Help new customers set up their accounts and give them initial training.
• Keep records of all communications in the ticketing system.
• Assist with the rollout of new products, methods and strategies to existing clients.
• Suggest new services to customers to add value to their business.
• Gather customer feedback on how to improve services and meet their needs.

Required profile

• Minimum high school diploma.
• 2+ years of computer and software service experience in a fast-paced business environment.
• 1+ year of supporting customer applications by phone in a technical help desk environment.
• Ability to own issues until they are resolved and to act as a trusted partner to customers.
• Team player who can also work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Strong time management and self-prioritization skills, able to balance focused work with time-sensitive issues.

Required skills

• Understanding of data mapping, transformations and integrations.
• Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, etc.).
• Knowledge of eBay, Craigslist and the auto industry is a plus.
