About the role

At TELUS Digital, we believe that when AI enters the healthcare space, accuracy is a matter of life and death. As a Clinical & Medical AI Expert, you act as the guardian of medical truth, joining an elite circle of healthcare professionals within our AI Community tasked with training large language models on complex diagnostics, pharmacology, and patient‑care logic.

Key responsibilities

• Audit AI “Chain‑of‑Thought” reasoning for medical diagnostics to ensure adherence to international clinical protocols such as ICD‑11 and DSM‑5.
• Rigorously verify AI‑generated drug interactions, dosage recommendations, and contraindications against peer‑reviewed medical literature.
• Precisely label complex datasets—including MRI/CT scans, pathology reports, and genomic data—to improve model visual‑spatial reasoning.
• Identify and neutralize “medical hallucinations” that could lead to patient harm, creating high‑fidelity safety guardrails for clinical environments.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MD/MBBS), Pharmacy (PharmD), Nursing, or Biomedical Sciences.
• Native‑level proficiency (C2+) in your primary language to interpret regional medical terminology.
• English proficiency of at least B1 (intermediate) for technical research and reporting.
• Successful completion of a subject‑specific qualification exam and ID verification.
