Director, Advanced Product Management Capability Development

About the role

Mastercard’s Learning & Development organization is seeking a Director to shape the global advanced capability strategy for its Product Management community. This senior leader will design and deliver scalable learning pathways that enable product managers to master emerging skills and drive business outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the advanced capability framework for Product Managers worldwide.
• Partner with Product leaders, People & Capability, and delivery teams to translate strategy into high‑impact learning solutions.
• Influence senior stakeholders across Product, Technology, and People & Capability to align learning initiatives with business priorities.
• Champion data‑informed decision‑making, AI‑enabled product development, and technical fluency within the learning curriculum.
• Drive reuse and enterprise value by prioritizing scalable, reusable learning assets over bespoke programs.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Product Manager or in leading Product Management capability development within a complex, technology‑driven organization.
• Deep understanding of modern product practices such as strategy, discovery, delivery, experimentation, metrics, and technical collaboration.
• Enterprise‑first, consultative mindset focused on alignment, scale, and long‑term impact.
• Strong judgment in prioritization and the ability to influence senior leaders without direct authority.
