About the role
Mastercard is seeking a Director/Senior Managing Consultant to lead Services Business Development for National Segments. You will own end‑to‑end sales cycles, build demand for Mastercard Services, and partner with solution experts to deliver tailored, data‑driven offerings to financial institutions.
Key responsibilities
- Drive business development and account ownership for Mastercard Services within the Financial Institution segment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Client Account Managers, Marketing, Solutions, Delivery, Product) to identify client gaps and craft compelling proposals.
- Lead formal and informal pitches, from storyboarding to face‑to‑face presentations, targeting senior‑level executives.
- Assemble agile sales teams to customize Services solutions and close deals within approved pricing and margin ranges.
- Manage deal workflow in Salesforce to ensure accurate revenue recognition and pipeline visibility.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- Proven experience developing and managing customer relationships in a B2B environment, preferably within financial services.
- Strong track record of achieving revenue targets and managing complex sales cycles.
