Laravel Developer + React (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking an experienced Laravel Developer with strong React skills to join its remote team serving clients across Latin America. You will work on high‑impact projects, building modern web applications that combine robust back‑end APIs with dynamic front‑end experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel 8+ applications and RESTful APIs.
• Implement front‑end features using React (or Vue.js/Livewire) and integrate them via Inertia.js.
• Write automated tests using Pest PHP, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, and Playwright.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, estimate tasks, and take ownership of deliverables.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel (version 8 or higher).
• Proficiency in Eloquent ORM, Laravel authentication, and query builder.
• Hands‑on experience with testing tools such as Pest, PHPUnit, Dusk, or Playwright.
• Familiarity with Inertia.js and building RESTful APIs.
• Solid front‑end development experience (React, Vue.js, or Laravel Livewire); Tailwind CSS is a plus.
• Strong sense of ownership, attention to detail, and a positive, can‑do attitude.
