Operations Officer – UNV Assignment in Belize

About the role

The United Nations Volunteers (UNV) is recruiting an Operations Officer to support the World Bank Group’s engagement in Belize. The six‑month onsite assignment, based in Belmopan, focuses on development operations, project and portfolio management, programme implementation and public‑sector engagement. The role offers a monthly volunteer living allowance and the possibility of extension.

Required profile

• Minimum eight (8) years of relevant professional experience in development operations, project or portfolio management, programme implementation, public‑sector engagement, international development, strategic analysis or stakeholder coordination.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Belizean nationality (must be a Belizean national).
