Crewed Yacht Captain & Chef

About the role

This is a live‑aboard position on a crewed charter yacht, combining the responsibilities of a professional captain with those of a dedicated chef. You will ensure the safety and enjoyment of guests while delivering high‑quality culinary experiences throughout each charter.

Key responsibilities

• Navigate, pilot, anchor and operate the yacht safely at all times.
• Maintain onboard systems, equipment and the dinghy to company standards.
• Keep an up‑to‑date logbook, record engine hours, passages and mileage, and submit reports.
• Manage provisioning, plan menus and prepare meals tailored to guest preferences.
• Provide guest briefings, safety orientations and host charter activities and excursions.
• Handle accounting records and ensure expenditures stay within the charter budget.
• Perform shore‑based duties between charters such as vessel deliveries, sea trials, guest briefings and relief cover.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a yacht captain and/or professional chef on charter vessels.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including back‑to‑back charters and on‑call periods.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to interact with high‑net‑worth guests.
• Willingness to share a double cabin and live aboard for the duration of assignments.
