Customer Service & Sales Agent

About the role

The Customer Service & Sales Agent works both in branch locations and in the contact centre, delivering accurate information and efficient service to customers across multiple communication channels. The role combines front‑line support with sales activities, aiming to create a positive experience and drive revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Handle a high volume of cash and non‑cash transactions quickly and professionally.
• Build and maintain cordial relationships with customers, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving issues.
• Provide detailed product and service information, upsell where appropriate, and process new loan accounts.
• Follow all company policies, compliance guidelines, and code of conduct in daily activities.
• Use company software, databases, scripts and tools to capture customer data and generate profiles.
• Escalate complex issues to the Team Lead and collaborate for effective resolution.
• Protect confidential information and ensure proper use of data.
• Support marketing initiatives and promote new products and promotions.
• Adhere to cash handling procedures at branches and non‑cash procedures at the contact centre.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent (honour roll preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in a reputable call‑center or teller role.
• Strong knowledge of customer‑service principles and ability to communicate clearly in English (Spanish a plus).
• Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
