About the role
Mastercard is seeking a senior leader to drive business development for Mastercard Services within the Financial Institution segment. The Director will own revenue targets, manage key accounts, and act as the primary liaison between Mastercard and senior client stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Lead business development and ongoing account ownership for Mastercard Services in the Financial Institution segment.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders—including Client Account Managers, Marketing, Solutions, Delivery, and Product teams—to identify client needs and gaps.
- Design and deliver formal and informal pitches, from storyboarding to face‑to‑face presentations, tailored to audience level.
- Build agile sales teams that customize Services solutions to address identified client requirements.
- Represent Mastercard to senior‑level client stakeholders, including C‑suite executives, and nurture positive relationships.
- Own pricing and margin decisions within approved ranges to successfully close deals.
- Manage deal workflows and revenue recognition using Salesforce.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining trusted relationships with financial institutions.
- Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and managing complex accounts.
- Strong ability to engage C‑suite executives and influence decision‑making.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
