Implementation Specialist

About the role

The Implementation Specialist works directly with customers to design, build, and launch their websites. You will act as a creative liaison from post‑sale through go‑live, ensuring projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate with customers throughout the design and build phases, keeping projects on track for the go‑live date.
• Serve as a liaison between the Implementation team and other departments within the Website Development division.
• Explain website standards and best practices to clients.
• Manage multiple customer projects simultaneously, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Develop specifications for design and content based on business needs and convey them to developers.
• Coordinate with developers to deliver a quality product.
• Perform minor website updates and forward larger updates to builders and graphic designers.
• Assist customers with domain purchase, transfer, and DNS configuration to launch sites on their chosen domains.

Required profile

• Strong interest in working directly with customers.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and multitask.
• Comfortable keeping clients within product specifications.
• Willingness to work in a mixed onsite/remote/hybrid environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Working knowledge of website analytics.
• Basic understanding of website trends and best practices.
• Domain/DNS knowledge.
• Basic HTML and experience using a CMS.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices.
• Basic project management skills.
• Background in web design.
