Security Officer

About the role

Belize Island Holdings, Ltd. is seeking motivated individuals to join their team as Security Officers on Harvest Caye, a premier Caribbean island destination. The role involves safeguarding the resort’s premises, assets, personnel, and guests while maintaining a visible, professional presence.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and protect the island’s facilities, including the pool area, lagoon, beach, and nature center.
• Prevent and respond to illegal activity, vandalism, theft, and property damage.
• Maintain high visibility and conduct regular patrols, both independently and in coordination with other staff.
• Observe and report any incidents or safety concerns promptly.
• Assist guests courteously while enforcing security protocols.

Required profile

• Excellent observation and attention‑to‑detail.
• Ability to work unsupervised and make sound decisions.
• Polite yet authoritative communication style.
• Professional appearance, well‑groomed and confident.
• Honest, reliable, with a verifiable background.
• Strong time‑management skills and willingness to work rotating shifts, including mornings and nights.

• Basic computer operation (asset).
