Senior Project Manager (IT) - Remote

About the role

BairesDev, a technology project company with a remote-first team of 4,000+ people, is hiring a Senior Project Manager (IT). You will lead several large-scale technology projects, often focused on staff augmentation and software delivery, working with cross-functional technical teams to drive strategy, operations and project execution.

Key responsibilities

• Implement, execute and support strategic plans for technology implementation
• Plan projects, monitor outcomes, coach and guide the team, and enforce company systems and policies
• Foster staff retention through a dependable, communicative environment and growth opportunities
• Evaluate and improve billable utilization, manage capacity planning and forecast project profitability
• Identify expansion opportunities within existing client relationships and deliver value to internal and external stakeholders
• Propose IT strategies, policies and procedures, predict financial results, schedule expenditures and analyze variances
• Establish and enforce organizational standards for quality service

Required profile

• 7+ years of experience in engineering management roles
• Extensive experience as a People Manager, including performance improvement planning, attrition management and terminations
• Deep technical expertise and comprehensive IT industry background
• Advanced level of English
• Desirable: past experience as a software engineer, a bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Computer Science, and experience with direct competitors
