About the role
FHI 360 is seeking a Director of Finance and Administration to lead financial, contractual, and administrative functions for the MCC Belize Training and Transitioning to Work Activity. The role is based in Belize and will be active once the project award is confirmed.
Key responsibilities
- Provide leadership over all financial and contractual aspects of the project.
- Develop and implement internal financial and organizational processes.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. and local regulations, donor policies, and organizational procedures.
- Oversee budgets, grants, operational plans, reporting, and financial compliance.
- Manage procurement, logistics, contracts, and grant administration.
- Supervise recruitment, hiring, and performance management of finance and operations teams, including local consultants.
- Collaborate with FHI 360 country, regional, and headquarters staff to align project implementation with best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Support timely and accurate reporting to donors and internal stakeholders.
Required profile
- Relevant experience in finance and administration, preferably within international development projects.
- Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage complex budgets.
- Strong understanding of U.S. and local financial regulations and donor compliance.
