Adventure Center Manager

About the role

Hamanasi is seeking an experienced Adventure Center Manager to lead its on‑site Adventure & Dive Resort in Hopkins, Belize. The role combines operational oversight of marine, inland and concierge services with hands‑on safety and guest experience leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the Adventure Center, overseeing Marine, Inland and Concierge teams.
• Manage tour schedules, staffing, logistics and guest activity coordination.
• Ensure safety procedures, briefings and documentation are completed for all activities.
• Oversee the 5‑Star PADI diving operation, marine activities and inland excursions, maintaining compliance with SOPs and PADI standards.
• Provide leadership during medical, diving or other emergencies, coordinating with medical professionals and emergency services.
• Maintain boats, vehicles, dive and adventure equipment, coordinating preventative maintenance and inventory control.

Required profile

• Significant recreational dive experience with strong understanding of dive safety.
• Current First Aid/CPR or equivalent emergency‑response certification.
• Proven leadership and people‑management experience in adventure, marine or tour operations.
• Ability to remain calm and make sound decisions during high‑pressure or emergency situations.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays as operational needs dictate.
