AI Strategist (Remote, Latin America)

About the role

We are looking for an AI Strategist to lead long‑term AI‑enabled programs for our retail and consumer‑brand clients across Latin America. The role sits in our Operational Intelligence discipline, guiding discovery, business case development, delivery direction and post‑launch adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end AI programs, not single tools, ensuring delivery, reassessment and expansion across client areas such as experience, marketing operations and forecasting.
• Conduct discovery by benchmarking business performance, stay embedded through recurring touchpoints, and surface opportunities before clients articulate them.
• Develop business cases that quantify impact, cost and success metrics, and produce precise specifications for specialist engineers or analysts.
• Direct specialist contractors, oversee concurrent projects, and ensure the scoped solution moves a tracked business metric and remains in use after launch.

Required profile

• Startup experience (built or operated) with comfort creating playbooks and managing a U.S. client relationship remotely.
• Client‑facing seniority to lead executive conversations, challenge assumptions and keep focus on the underlying business problem.
• Deep AI expertise – having built AI‑enabled tools, products or workflows and able to demo an applied AI case study.
• Strong technical and analytical fluency, able to reason about agent systems, data connections, backend architectures, APIs and implementation trade‑offs; SQL/Python experience is a plus.
• Ability to read a P&L, understand e‑commerce economics (e.g., Shopify) and build financial models.
