Junior Bookkeeper

About the role

CustomerHD BPO is looking for a junior bookkeeper to join its bookkeeping team, working in an office in Belize City. The client is a fast-growing company supporting IT Managed Service Providers (MSPs) with bookkeeping and operational services. Training runs Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, starting November 30, 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily data entry and keep accurate general ledger records
• Prepare and post journal entries with proper documentation
• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Track and analyse cost of goods sold (COGS), including inventory, direct materials and production expenses
• Assist with month-end and year-end close and financial reporting
• Maintain organised financial records for internal and external use

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field preferred; experience is more important
• 1 year of accounting experience with QuickBooks/QuickBooks Online preferred but not required
• Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and regulatory compliance
• Experience with small business owners and a desire to help them grow

Required skills

• Extensive experience with QuickBooks Online (must)
• QuickBooks Desktop experience is a plus
• ConnectWise or Autotask PSAs experience is a strong plus
• Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks and Excel
