Security Guard – Belize City

About the role

We are looking for an alert, responsible individual to maintain a safe environment at our terminal in Belize City. As a Security Guard you will support daily operations, ensure security for passengers, staff and facilities, and help create a welcoming atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and secure terminal areas, conducting routine patrols across assigned locations.
• Support crowd management during busy periods and vessel movements, assisting passengers as needed.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety concerns, or incidents, ensuring company policies are followed.
• Assist operations during vessel arrivals and departures, providing guidance to staff, customers, and vendors.

Required profile

• High School Diploma; minimum age 18 years.
• Reliable, alert, and professional demeanor with ability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Physically capable of standing and walking for extended periods in indoor and outdoor environments.
• Team‑oriented, proactive, and able to remain calm and courteous when interacting with others.
