Senior Data Engineer (Analyst/Scientist) – Remote

About the role

Kake is seeking senior data engineers who can turn raw data into reliable insights and scalable pipelines. You will own data problems end‑to‑end and work closely with product and engineering teams to drive data‑informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes and data warehouses supporting analytics and modelling.
• Analyze large datasets to uncover trends, patterns and actionable business insights.
• Develop, validate and maintain statistical or machine‑learning models to solve business problems.
• Ensure data quality, consistency and integrity across sources and pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business questions into clear data solutions and reporting.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, data science or data engineering.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational or NoSQL databases.
• Hands‑on programming experience in Python or R.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced remote environment.
