Customer Service Expert AI Training – Remote

About the role

This hourly, remote contractor position involves acting as a Customer Service Subject Matter Expert to create realistic, human‑enacted conversation datasets for training speech‑to‑speech AI agents. You will simulate authentic support interactions, applying your professional customer‑service experience to help AI systems handle real‑world queries more naturally.

Key responsibilities

• Develop AI training content by generating natural customer‑service dialogues across varied support scenarios.
• Evaluate and rank AI‑generated responses to improve accuracy, fluency and contextual relevance.
• Test AI models for potential inaccuracies or biases, ensuring reliable performance across use cases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Management or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 2 years of professional customer‑service experience with proven expertise in client communication, issue resolution and support workflows.
• At least 1 year of experience in AI training activities such as data annotation, model evaluation or response assessment.
• Excellent spoken English (C1+), clear and fluent verbal communication.
• Self‑directed, reliable and able to deliver consistent quality in a remote, hourly contractor environment.
